About

This is 小熊猫.
During the day, I work as an applied scientist at a fairly large company. I used to focus on ranking algorithms for things like search, ads, and recommendation systems—interesting work, though I won’t pretend I was reinventing the wheel. Now, I’ve shifted to tinkering with LLM RAG applications, hoping to help them make better sense of documents. It’s a small step toward AI, and I’m happy to be part of it.
After hours, I keep myself busy with things I enjoy. I’ve got some steady hobbies—playing guitar and piano, skateboarding, gaming on my console, and cooking. There were others I once loved, like painting and writing stories, but they’ve faded into the background as time’s gotten tighter. Still, I think life’s all about trying new things and figuring out what sticks with you.
I’ve always had a bit of a creative side, though I wouldn’t say I’ve produced anything groundbreaking. Over the years, I’ve shared bits and pieces of content on different platforms—just little projects to keep the spark alive.
  • Bilibili: My old haunt, mostly work-related thoughts. It’s been a while since I’ve touched it, and it’s more of a time capsule now.
  • 夏日猫猫茶: This used to be my spot for rambling about books, films, and music, but it’s since blended into 迟早要玩. A quiet end to a solo chapter.
  • 迟早要玩: A fun collaboration with two friends where we talk games, and sometimes wander into books, movies, or music. It’s still going, and I’m glad for it.
I’m also mulling over a new project about investing—nothing set in stone yet, just something I’m kicking around.
At home, I live with 皮皮, my tabby cat of 10 years. From Beijing to Suzhou. I don’t really think of her as a pet—we’re more like roommates, sharing the space and figuring things out together. She’s taught me a lot over the decade, and I’m grateful for her steady presence.
